Ruddick Family and Friends in Concert
The Ruddick Family and Friends will perform in concert on Saturday night February 25th at 6:30 PM at the Dr. Carson and Marion Murray Community Centre in Springhill. It is part of the African Heritage Month Celebrations. Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door and are available at the Community Centre or CANSA. Children under 12 are free.
The African Nova Scotian Beat
The African Nova Scotian Beat is four one-hour radio shows celebrating the music of African Nova Scotia performers past and present. In partnership between the Cumberland African Nova Scotian Association (CANSA) and the Tantramar Community Radio Society, the shows will air on CFTA 107.9 FM in Amherst Nova Scotia as part of African Heritage Month. The programs will air Wednesday nights February 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd from 7-8 PM.
